  31. Well, how about a tougher requirement:

  33. I've tried using a modem on COM4, while trying to retain COM2 for
  34. sporadic usage (backup of my palmtop PC), NOT CONCURRENTLY, but this
  35. doesn't work.
  36. Is there any theoretical reason why this doen't work (i.e modem on
  37. COM4 or other serial device on COM2, NOT active at the same time)?
  38. I have the same problem of limited IRQ options for my Best Data 14.4
  39. modem.
